Product - Is the Weight Loss formula fat-free?
No, but it is a reduced fat formula. It's veterinarian formulated to help your pet lose weight while maintaining optimum health. Like any weight loss program, food alone may not be the only solution. Proper nutrition and exercise play a big part in weight loss. The weight loss food is balanced nutrition with fewer calories, less fat and a higher protein content
Product - How should I feed the canned dog food? Seems expensive as a main meal.
While it can be used as a main meal source, it's generally good to use as a variety or supplemental to the dry food. Since all canned food contains more water than dry, it's easy to understand that you would then need more canned food by volume than dry. If you have a large dog then feeding only the canned can get expensive. Plus, canned food is not as nutritionally dense and as high a calorie count as dry. Suggested serving size is three to four cans per 15 pounds of body weight per day.
Product - Why is this dry food more nutritious than other dry food?
HealthyPetNet uses high-quality ingredients and a “fast-cook” process to help preserve the nutritional value of each and every wholesome ingredient. Some other pet food manufacturers extrude their dry food at much higher temperatures and for longer periods. That causes the nutritional value to be much less than HealthyPetNet's.
